MOLA Records is an independent record label and publisher based in central London. We are a nimble and growing company, expanding our direct team, and are looking to hire an experienced Marketing Manager on a part-time basis to lead to a full-time role.

We are looking for an experienced and versatile Marketing Manager to join our agile and growing team. The right candidate will have a proven track record of breaking and growing new artists in the modern music industry. We can create and execute marketing plans, identify trends and current movements in the music industry, and offer unique ideas.
The ideal candidate should be a thinker and not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get things done. They must be technically proficient and at the same time have good organizational skills. Familiarity with or experience using Adobe Creative Cloud is preferred but not required. Please note that this is a London-based role and will require you to work from our office.
Responsibilities include:
- Strategic campaign planning in traditional marketing disciplines and new media environments/platforms.
- We work directly with artists and artist management to deliver creative and successful campaigns.
- Work closely with the A&R team to coordinate product offerings and campaign schedules.
- Asset direction (artwork, photos, videos, etc.)
- Manage press, online, radio, TV and other third-party teams for each project
- Develop and execute marketing plans to deliver creative, innovative and efficient digital and social media campaigns.
- Collaborate within your internal team to develop streaming strategies and innovative activations across DSPs and similar platforms.
- Work with the international marketing team to develop campaigns in international markets.
- Work with external creative and media buying agencies
- manage your budget
- Distribute sales and marketing reports to all teams
Recruitment criteria
- 5+ years of relevant experience with an independent or major record label.
- Ability to plan, manage and execute high standard campaigns with confidence.
- perform tasks autonomously and independently
- Experience of chart success
- Experience in communicating with artists, managers, and other third party stakeholders.
- Ability to work nimbly under pressure
- Ability to juggle various projects at the same time
- Deep understanding of data analytics and consumer insights
- Familiar with market trends, music industry developments and digital innovations
- Open to using innovative marketing tools
- Highly motivated, organized and with excellent time management skills
- Team player with creative ideas and a positive attitude
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
