The Cuckoo Pint in Stubbington has reopened after a six-figure refurbishment

Popular Stabbington pub The Cuckoo Pint has reopened with a new look after a six-figure refurbishment.
Customers are now enjoying drinks and great value food at the venue, which enjoys an enviable location just a mile from Hill Head Beach on Cuckoo Lane.
The pub closed in early February due to major construction work inside and outside.

It was re-opened in 2021 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Charlotte Fairall, who founded the Stubbington charity Sophie's Legacy in memory of her 10-year-old daughter who passed away. Sophie's Legacy aims to improve the situation of pediatric cancer patients and sick children and to conduct research.
The inside of the pub has been completely refurbished with new furniture, contemporary decor and upgraded toilets. The layout remains open plan but divided into zones to accommodate all guests.
The pub also offers Sky and TNT Sport, showing all the major matches for sports fans to enjoy.
Cuckoo Pint Pub continues to offer the same popular food and drink menu, including our popular Senior Sale, £5 Build Your Original Burger offer on Wednesdays, and a new £6 Chick and Mix deal every Thursday We have reopened with .
The large garden area is dog-friendly, so you can bring your furry friend along for fun as the weather gets hotter.
General Manager Kate Hopkins said: “The pub will continue to be a central hub for the local area and we look forward to welcoming new and regular customers to see the exciting refurbishment of this space.” Stated.

In addition to seasonal summer events such as the annual Easter Egg Hunt and Cuckoo Fest, The Cuckoo Pint hosts a regular program of events including weekly quiz and bingo nights and monthly live music events.
The investment has created several job opportunities, with the pub team adding five new members to the front and back of the store.
The reopening comes just weeks after a fire destroyed the nearby Osborne View pub on Hillhead's waterfront.
