Marketers continue to move from job to job, and more than two-thirds have been in their current job for less than three years.
According to Marketing Week's exclusive career and salary survey, two-thirds (66.3%) of marketers have only been in their current role for up to three years.
A study of over 3,000 marketers found that the majority of marketers are still relatively new to their current role, with only 15.9% having been in the role for more than seven years.

Different generations have different reasons for wanting change. Of course, money is high on the list. More than three-quarters (77.1%) of Gen Z cite financial rewards as a reason to look elsewhere, as do 70.1% of Millennials.
But just over half (55.8%) of Gen Xers also say money is a reason they consider a new job. A similar proportion (55%) of this cohort say the main reason is limited opportunities at their current company.
