Mangaluru, March 20: The Faculty of Commerce and Management of the Yennepoya College of Arts, Sciences, Commerce and Management (YIASCM), a component unit (deemed as a university) of Yenepoya, organized the third series in collaboration with the International Skills Development Corporation (ISDC). An Enlightened Masterclass in Digital Marketing will be held on Wednesday, March 20th here at Couleur Campus.
The event began with a warm welcome to the delegates by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Commerce, Mr. Mahamad Shahid.
Dr. Arun A. Bhagwas, Principal and Dean, Faculty of Science enlightened the audience on the importance of global knowledge and acquiring new age skills in digital marketing for the all-round growth of students.
Experts Dr Simon Fraser and Dr Craig Rees from Robert Gordon University in Scotland were the distinguished resource persons for this session. Their comprehensive presentation covered various aspects of digital marketing, from market analysis and consumer behavior to branding strategies and digital advertising techniques. The aim was to provide students with the tools and techniques necessary to succeed in this dynamic field.
The presence of Vice Principal Dr. Shareena P, Dean of Commerce, Dr. Jeevan Raj and Dr. Narayan Sukumar A added solemnity to the event. University Resource Person Robert Gordon was recognized in a traditional manner as a token of appreciation for his valuable contribution.
This session, held from 10am to 12:30pm, was the third part of the series, with the previous two sessions held online. A total of 250 students from B. Com, BBA and MBA programs actively participated in the event and showed their enthusiasm for learning. Notable attendees included Megha Malhosla from Robert Gordon University, Ms. Babitha and Ms. Tanuj from ISDC, Dr. Vaibhav Meshram (Principal of YDU Bangalore), Dr. Namratha S. (PG Coordinator) and Ms. Neekshita Shetty (Head of Administration) and Marvin Jason Vass (Dean). Faculty of Hospitality Sciences). Assistant Professor Sheetal Nayak ran the proceedings efficiently as the moderator and Assistant Professor Subramani K coordinated the event.
