An Australian woman who lost her job during the pandemic has revealed how she now earns a six-figure monthly income.
Sharna Beckman had been working as a dental assistant for six years when her hours were reduced due to the coronavirus. She had seen people succeeding as models on her service, so she decided to try it out herself to make some extra money.
“I didn't take OnlyFans that seriously, but when I ended up losing my job because I didn't want to get vaccinated, I started taking it more seriously, and that's when my grades started skyrocketing.” Sharna told news.com.au. .
But the 27-year-old has found an unusual niche with adult websites. She earns a six-figure income a month humiliating men and is on track to earn $1.5 million (approximately US$978,825) in 2024.
“When I first joined, I was pretty plain Jane, but then I started getting requests and they offered me a lot of money for it,” she said.
“I was like, 'Good luck and give it a go.' They told me these weird twists and what they wanted out of it.”
It was a step into new territory for Sharna. Her friends describe her as cheerful, friendly, and sociable, but in this new world she essentially worked as a mistress.
However, she was open to trying new things and found it fun to step into this “mean” role, which was completely different from her everyday life.
One particularly memorable session for Sharna was when she was creating custom content for men wearing women's heels and handbags.
“He told me to call him all kinds of names and tell him I was stupid,” she said.
“I kept saying things like that because he really liked it and the more money he got, the more he kept paying me.”
Sharna claims to earn more than $1 million a year, and the highest she has ever earned was $220,000 ($143,561) a month.
She said she has made a six-figure income in the past six months and is on track to earn $1.5 million (approximately US$978,825) in 2024.
“I mean, it's not for everyone. I know a lot of girls who can't stand this industry because of the mean comments, but I'm pretty hard-skinned,” Sharna said, adding that her friends and mother He added that he supports her career.
“I try not to read the comments, but all my fans love me. Many of them have been there since the beginning.”
Sharna said she would like to enjoy her time working in the sex industry, but would also like to invest in real estate and start a swimwear or clothing line in the future.
“I like fashionable things. I like matching outfits, so maybe that's the thing. I'm not 100 percent sure what I actually want to do.”
Sharna revealed that she doesn't come from a big family and wants to support herself and her mother, who lives in government housing.
